REVIEW: Sincere Engineer shines in small setting

NORMAL, IL.- Deanna Belos of Sincere Engineer performed an acoustic set on June 30 at Waiting Room Records in Normal, Illinois in front of a standing-room only audience.

Fresh off the release of its fantastic new record “Probable Claws,” Belos belted out new tracks like “Twist My Tongue” and “Cooler” in the heart-on-sleeve sincerity that has made Sincere Engineer so enjoyable. “Anemia” was also a highlight of the seven-song set.

Small, sweaty shows like this are great reminders of how fun small punk shows can be.
