“Playlists For Ghosts” is the debut comic from H.E Creative, which is a DIY artist who has worked with some of the biggest acts in music.
The first issue is haunting , nostalgia-filled love letter to growing up punk. There is something for every fan of the genre and its sub genres; clever Easter eggs sprinkled throughout and the “playlist” story format of a protagonist struggling to find herself.
The comic really hits hard at the end by revealing something to the reader that’s not obvious but at the same time, not surprising, which is a strong element to storytelling.
