A new report from Canada Sports Betting (CSB) has pulled data from North American “abduction" data from 2019 to 2024 , and determines your likelihood of being abducted by a UAP in the “Alien Abduction Odds Index 2026.”
This data and research is independent from National UFO Reporting Center’s work, and NASA’s 2022 study on anomalous activity that was “inconclusive.” According to the CBS, the index compares patterns. Each state or Canadian providence is given implied probability, which measured the odds of how frequently reports were generated in one place in comparison to others.
The index was built on how often UAP sightings were reported, how many reports include abduction-related details, and whether the reports appear consistently over time. According to an expert at CBS, for most people, they will not face any abduction threats or even possibly see UFOs, but a few areas stand out in North America, which was the intention of the index.
For Canada, British Columbia ranked first overall in UAP reports with 1,264 sightings since 2019. New Hampshire is No.1 in the U.S. with 24 sightings per 100,000 residents, which is the highest per capita rate in country. While California logged 170,000 sightings since 2019, it falls outside top 15 of the CBS study since the reports are spread out among the state’s large population.
