Dream about the universe

I had a very vivid dream last night that I was on a tour of the universe. I’m not trying to make any assertions or claims of channeling or anything of that nature here, but I just found a lot of the circumstances and occurrences of the dream interesting and very specific. Below is an account of what I remember.

I had a tour guide during this “trip” to the universe in the dream. The tour guide was a lady, but I felt it was something just taking the form of a mid-aged librarian-like woman. At one point all that could be seen is space, which was illuminated by many red stars, and I was told by the tour guide “Don’t be alarmed; it is beautiful.”

Then the tour guide took me into what appeared to be a candy/ or gift shop, but the whole time I felt in the dream it was a shield or a screen for something else. While there, I had to wear a white hard hat so I wouldn’t be recognized as being “out of place.”

This is where it gets interesting. In the dream, I gave the tour guide a summary of a theory I proposed in my first book “Punk rock and UFOs: Cryptozoology meets Anarchy.” The theory from the book:

“What if our souls were a simple light force or consciousness? What if when we die, our “souls” go up past the ether into the atmosphere and find its way into another universe or a “heaven?” What if heaven is really another universe that can only be traveled to by our consciousness that contains our memories and cognition? “

The tour guide’s response to this was “give or take.” I can’t recall specifics about other questions I asked the guide, but I remember all the responses being short one-to-two-word answers. What is striking about this is from what I’ve read about hypnosis /regression cases where patients are claiming to channel responses from an unknown voice and asked specific questions about the universe or phenomena the brief answers were similar to the “give or take” reply I got in the dream. I haven’t read or studied a regression case deeply in over a year; the last one being “Keepers Of The Garden.

In the dream I also asked about the greys, and the tour guide quickly changed form to a grey alien, and back to human. After that the guide was showing me candy, and a human lady walked past us. The guide informed me that was “Dana Hickenlooper.” When I woke up I looked up a “Dana Hickenlooper,” but nothing really came up, The last name Hickenlooper rang a bell because Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper is running for president in 2020. Wild speculation here, but could he possibly be one of the candidates in the know of secret UFO programs?

At the end of the day this was just a dream, but I felt compelled to share because I found some of the specifics and imagery to be oddly coincidental at best. I’ll leave you with a small passage about dreams from “Punk rock and UFOs: Cryptozoology Meets Anarchy.”

Have you ever had a very vivid dream that just seems like it was real?  Have you ever had a dream you were drowning and you find yourself forcing yourself to wake up and gasping for air when actually awake?  I’ve had a reoccurring dream that I was being attacked by a shark and I always remember forcing myself to wake up and when I do, I am out of breath and my  ribs feel sore. Night terrors are sleep disruptions that are more severe than just a nightmare. Sleep occurs in several stages that correspond with a function of the brain. Most of our dreaming occurs during the rapid eye movement or REM part of sleep. A lot of nightmares happen during the REM stage, but a night terror is a reaction to fear that occurs during transitions from one sleep stage to another, rather an actual nightmare. Night terrors can be caused by an active or overly aroused central nervous system ( CNS). Night terrors are considered to be a parasomnia, or an undesired interference during sleep.  Abductions and visitations can be called parasomnia too, since many occur during our intimate and fragile sleep state. There are similarities made from a night time visitation and night terrors in how helpless and how there is a state on uneasiness during both.

Lucid dreams are dreams where the dreamer is aware they are in a dream and awareness of self, function, decisions, meaning, environment and overall clarity.
